Dorbyl Limited of South Africa, the owner of Alpine Engineered Products, Inc, since 1998, has agreed to the sale of Alpine to a select group of investors led by Stonebridge Partners Equity Fund, III, L.P., a private equity firm based in White Plains, N.Y. The transaction is expected to be completed this month. All senior members of the Alpine executive team will continue to be actively involved in the operation of the company and will have a limited investment in Alpine.
