CertainTeed is strengthening its portfolio of acoustical ceiling products through the introduction of Adagio™ High CAC, a sustainable composite ceiling panel that features the most superior acoustical performance in the market. The panel combines the sound absorption of high-density fiberglass with the sound containment qualities of mineral fiber, which contributes to an NRC of 0.80 and a CAC of 40-42.
Adagio High CAC is rated a Class A product by the International Organization for Standards 11654, the International Standard for Classification of Sound Absorbers. The optimal sound absorption and containment properties of the panels also eliminate the need for full height wall partitions.
In addition to its acoustical performance, Adagio High CAC offers a range of sustainable attributes that contribute to the USGBC’s LEED® accreditation and other green building programs.
