Ames Taping Tool Systems, Inc. is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its original Bazooka with the launch of a new industry standard, its new BAZOOKA brand taper.
Exclusive features of the new BAZOOKA include a lengthened control tube with flanges that make tape cuts on high walls and ceilings significantly easier, while also requiring less grip-force to operate the cutter. The tape bail now has a locking mechanism that makes it easy to change tape rolls without having to put the taper down, and has no loose parts. Also, cable changes have been simplified with a smooth, rounded, plastic plunger stop that is easy to remove and re-install.
The plastic flanges provide a better grip, and the butt-end (plunger stop) has a more comfortable grip.
