Celebration™ Renovation Clips from USG Interiors, Inc. make it possible to refinish an outdated suspended ceiling by adding sleek Celebration Metal Ceiling Panels or True™ Acoustical Ceiling Panels. This clip enables installers to adapt either of these ceilings directly onto any standard 15/16" metal suspension system and enhance the ceiling’s acoustical performance without adding new ceiling grid.
Installation of the new ceiling panels is relatively simple. The existing suspension system must be checked to ensure that it is structurally sound, and the plenum must be free of problems. Next, the existing ceiling grid should be squared.
One Celebration Renovation Clip is attached to each intersection of the 15/16" face T-Bar grid, and the new ceiling panels are simply snapped in place over the original ones.
