Ames Taping Tool Systems, Inc. announces the launch of its Feather-Lite™ SkySwiper™, a revolutionary tool for wiping down flat joints after taping with the Bazooka®.
“The SkySwiper is the solution for high-reach applications, enabling finishers to quickly and easily bed and wipe down vertical wall joints without the need for stilts, benches or scaffolding,” said Ames President Drew Garner. “The SkySwiper incorporates the latest advances in tool technology, all designed to help the professional drywall finisher work smarter, faster and more profitably.”
The SkySwiper was developed by a tradesman, Andy Sullivan, of Nastasi & Associates, New York City. Exclusive features of the SkySwiper include a blue steel knife and roller head that rapidly reduce wipe down time and ensure proper bedding of the joint tape. Additional tool components include a lightweight aluminum extension handle to reach vertical flats up to 15’ high, and a multi-functional mud pan.
