These EIFS—Doing It Right® program graduates are authorized to use designations after their names to recognize their achievement and communicate their credential to others:
- CEM is for Certified EIFS Mechanic.
- CEP is for Certified EIFS Industry Professional.
- CEI is for Certified EIFS Inspector.
The designation UCEP is for union-certified EIFS plasterers who have completed EIFS coursework through an AWCI-approved union training program. Contact AWCI directly at (703) 538-1612 for details on the UCEP designation.
AWCI has established Codes of Conduct for certificate holders for each of the programs. There is also a Process for the Resolution of Complaints should any be brought against certificate holders.
EIFS certificates are issued for a limited time (three years for inspectors, and five years for mechanics and industry professionals). For recertification information, click here.
