The steps to obtaining the EIFSmart Contractor seal for your company are as follows:

1. Educate at least 40 percent of your employees in the correct, generic procedures of EIFS installation. Check to make sure that your employee meets the selected category's pre-qualifications: EIFS Mechanics or EIFS Industry Professionals before moving forward with their instruction and testing.
   
   
   • EIFS Mechanic certificate may be earned in one of two ways:
     • At an instructor-led course,
           OR
     • With the self-study format using a DVD and accompanying workbook. (Can be purchased in English or Spanish. One workbook must be purchased for each mechanic who is to be tested for certification. Click here to order.
   
   
   • EIFS Industry Professional certificate may be earned only by attending an instructor-led course.
