Attendees of the latest seminar had this to say:

"It was awesome spending two days in intense discussion with instructors (engineers) at the forefront of the cold-formed steel framing industry. I would recommend this seminar to everyone... even the guys that have been framing for decades."
Deborah Hard, owner Hard Drywall, Denton, TX

After 30 years of specifying and drawing details for cold-formed steel projects, it was gratifying to attend the Steel—Doing It Right seminar. The instructors were knowledgeable and presented a comprehensive program that will assist me in updating our office knowledge base. I definitely plan to send key staff to the next seminar.
Richard Nardini, AIA, BHNT Architects, Buffalo, NY

Summary of Content
Steel—Doing It Right® is a two-day seminar aimed at owners, project managers, estimators, foremen, superintendents, code officials and architects. Formulated by experts from the Steel Framing Alliance, an organization at the forefront of the latest technological advances for building with cold-formed steel, and AWCI and its member experts, the seminar is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the construction methods and contractors' issues including structural, load-bearing wall assemblies; interior systems; roof and floor assemblies; estimating; quality control and much more.

As one attendee put it: "This seminar will keep the attorneys away and provide information to increase the contractor's bottom line."

The seminar instructors are: Pat Boyd, P.E. owner of J. Patrick Boyd Consulting Engineers specializing in design calculations and engineered drawings for the use of cold-formed steel framing in commercial applications and Don Allen, P.E. who is acting concurrently as technical director for the SFA, CFSEI and SSMA.

Both instructors are experts in the field of CFS design and construction and bring a wealth of experience and insight to the seminar.
