NCDCA Announces New Executive Director

The Northern California Drywall Contractors Association has announced that Chris Urling is replacing Ron Becht as its executive director. Becht had been the association’s executive director for 37 years.

Urling has been in the drywall industry all of his working life. He started his drywall career in the field working for a large commercial drywall contractor. After proving himself as a craftsman, Urling was made an estimator, which he continued successfully with other large contractors, working his way into sales and marketing for them.

Urling has remained active in NCDCA, becoming a member of the board of directors and the association’s president of NCDCA.
