Jerry Heid, AHC/CSI, has been named vice president of sales for Zero International, Bronx, N.Y. Also, N.J. Stevens Company, Inc. of Lacona, N.Y. is the company’s new sales represesntative for upstate New York.



Tom Leney has joined Winrock International, Little Rock, Ark., as vice president for programs. In that position he will oversee Winrock’s portfolio of community, economic and environmental programs and services in the United States and some 65 countries worldwide.



STOW Construction Equipment has opened a centralized warehouse in Londerzeel, Belgium. The warehouse will stock STOW’s line of trowels, concrete and masonry saws, mixers, concrete vibrators and dewatering pumps. The headquarters for STOW Construction Equipment, a division of Multiquip Inc., are located in Carson, Calif,



Indianapolis-based Sonny Scaffolds, Inc. has appointed James I. Brown Jr. , to manager of the firm’s new Florida Regional Office in Venice, Fla., and Sherry Jourdan has been named to the position of sales coordinator.



M. Shawn Puccio has been named vice president of finance by Saint-Gobain Corporation, Valley Forge, Pa., effective Feb. 1, 2005. She was previously the company’s vice president of Internal Control Services.



Plymouth Foam Incorporated, Plymouth, Wis., has reorganized its sales team into five dedicated product and sales channel divisions. The new structure will allow PFI sales personnel to focus on the primary area of their expertise and bring more consultative and administrative support to the customers of each division. The divisional structure replaces a more geographic territorial alignment. In related news, Tim Snider has been named DuraSpec Building Products – Wholesale Division sales manager.



Multiquip will supply light- and medium-sized construction equipment to building professionals throughout the Middle East and in select Eastern European countries. Multiquip products are now available from Turkey, Syria and Saudi Arabia in the east to Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Afghanistan in the west. European distribution includes such nations as Georgia, Armenia and Tajikistan. The Carson, Calif.–headquartered manufacturer’s strategic partner in India, Multiquip Construction Equipment Pvt. Ltd. , will supply most of the Multiquip products. Multiquip Construction Equipment Pvt. Ltd., under the operation of Narinder Jit Singh, and Multiquip Inc. plan to establish a local distribution center in addition to the existing Mumbai, India-based operation.



Leica Geosystems has appointed GeoShack (formerly Blue Beam) as a distributor in Ohio and Michigan. In Ohio, GeoShack will represent Leica Geosystems in construction lasers, surveying, engineering and construction machine automation systems. In Michigan, GeoShack will distribute Leica construction lasers and machine automation systems. Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, GeoShack was formed in 2003 by the merger of Blue Beam, Spectra Laser & Precision Instruments, Laserline Ontario and Construction & Survey Instruments. Leica Geosystems, with worldwide headquarters in Heerbrugg, Switzerland, develops, manufactures and markets systems for surveying, mapping and position determination.



Hacker Industries, Inc. , Newport Beach, Calif., introduces Bajko Gypsum Concrete of Michigan and Gypsum Floors of Denver, LLC in Colorado as new members of its nationwide network of certified and trained licensed applicators.



The Gypsum Association has updated and redesigned its existing Web site, www.gypsum.org. The redesigned site features automatic drop-down boxes in a variety of categories that enable visitors to quickly scan all available page titles. Also featured is a search function that provides the ability to search all available choices on the site for a queried term. In addition, the Web site now incorporates VeriSign purchase technology to facilitate and secure on-line purchase transactions. Separate pages have been specifically designed for architects, building officials, contractors, and the media to keep each industry segment supplied with the most current Association-produced information, newsletters, educational programs and articles.



Two of G-P Gypsum’s products were featured on ABC television’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, on Jan. 23, 2005. G-P Gypsum joined forces with the program to help create a desperately needed, entirely new home for a family in Martinez, Calif. Filmed and constructed in one week in December 2004, the home’s interior showcased G-P Gypsum’s interior wall panels and tile backer.



Dri-Eaz Products, Inc. has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification, an internationally recognized quality management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization, for its Burlington, Wash., headquarters and manufacturing facility.



ISO 9001:2000 applies to organizations involved in the design and development, manufacturing, installation and servicing of products. To be certified to the standard, companies must implement a comprehensive quality management system that addresses all areas of operation, from internal staff training practices to product design, manufacturing, delivery and service.



The Bilco Company, a West Haven, Conn., manufacturer of specialty access products for commercial and residential markets, introduces its newly designed Web site at www.bilco.com. Visitors to the site can view detailed information on each of the company’s products, including specifications, sizing information and product images. The new download center gives access to CAD product drawings, product literature, installation instructions and other information in PDF format.



Ames Taping Tool Systems, Inc., headquartered in Atlanta, announces the opening of its newest store in Pensacola, Fla. Ames has established company-owned store locations in more than 100 markets, in addition to franchise operations in more than 80 of the fastest-growing residential and commercial markets in the United States and Canada. The company plans an aggressive store opening program throughout the United States in the first half 2005. Pensacola is Ames’ 12th store in Florida.
