TJ Wies Contracting Presented with FCA Crest Chairman’s Award

TJ Wies Contracting, Inc. was awarded with the Finishing Contractors Association Contractors Recognizing Excellence in Safety Training Chairman’s Award at the 2015 FCA International Leadership Council conference on May 8, in Chicago.

FCA’s Crest Chairman’s Award recognizes the contractor who has taken their current safety program to new heights. This is the first time TJ Wies Contracting has been awarded the Crest Chairman’s Award. TJ Wies won the FCA Crest Award in the category of Drywall Finishing, more than 150,000 hours, in 2011.

The Crest Chairman’s Award recognizing TJ Wies’s commitment to safety comes on the heels of TJ Wies receiving two other safety awards: AGC of America/Willis Construction Safety and Excellence Award, second place finish in the Specialty Contractor Division of 300,000-500,000 hours and winner of AWCI’s Excellence in Construction Safety Award in the category of companies with fewer than 450,000 annual hours (see page 54).
