Wayne James Retires

Wayne James, CAE, executive director of the Texas Lathing and Plastering Contractors Association, Arlington, Texas, retired March 15 after almost 48 years in the association management profession.



In January James completed 20 years as head of Texas Lathing and Plastering Contractors Association and its affiliate organization, Texas Bureau for Lathing and Plastering.
He is not completely leaving the profession as he will continue as executive director of the National One Coat Stucco Association.



James is active in national, state and local professional organizations in association management and meeting planning, construction organizations and other groups. He is on the board of directors of the State Fair Park Board of Friends in Dallas.



A replacement has not yet been named.
