Thank You

With the beautiful sites of Naples, Fla., still fresh in our minds, another successful Industry Executives’ Conference & Committee Week is now behind us. I would
like to take this opportunity to thank all the committee members for taking time out

of their schedule to address the ongoing challenge of improving our industry.

It was a very busy and productive week with discussions on issues like passive fire
protection, EIFS education and certification, mold and mold mitigation programs,
several construction technology issues as well as the items on other AWCI agendas.

Thanks again for your thought-provoking ideas and directional suggestions. It’s the
strong leaders behind AWCI and the Foundation of the Wall and Ceiling Industry that
continue to make AWCI the “go-to” organization for the industry.

Having recently reviewed AWCI’s June 30 year-end audit, I am happy to report that
your association is very healthy fiscally and positioned for the industry challenges ahead.

Our next meeting is AWCI’s Academy, which will be held Jan. 30-31 in Denver. Make
your reservations now so that you can be sure you’ll have a hotel room and so that
you don’t have to worry about forgetting the deadlines during the upcoming holidays.

Following that, our next big impact is, of course, AWCI’s Expo: Construction Directions
2004, our annual convention and trade show. Please join us in Las Vegas at the Paris
Hotel, April 12-17. Call your travel agent today!
