Grabber Construction Products Announces New Personnel


Grabber Construction Products appointed Robert Waterhouse as the company’s president and chief executive officer effective April 15, 2019. Waterhouse assumed the role held by Roland Snyder, who retired and had served as president since 2014, CEO since 2015, and has been part of Grabber leadership for nearly 30 years. Grabber Construction Products is an international distributor of professional grade fastener and construction products.

    

Waterhouse has an extensive background as a leader in the construction industry with 33 years of experience. He comes to Grabber Construction Products from L&W Supply, a customer of Grabber Construction Products and one of the nation’s largest distributors of gypsum wallboard and building materials, where he served as general manager and executive vice president. Previously Waterhouse served as vice president of marketing, senior vice-president of sales, and general manager of ceilings at USG Corporation.

    

Waterhouse is a board member and a past president of the Board for the Foundation of Wall and Ceilings Industry.

    

In addition, Grabber Construction Products has hired Melanie Bisson as national sales manager for the LBM channel.

    

Bisson, CSI, CDT, has 13 years of sales leadership experience in the building materials and construction industry, coming to Grabber Construction Products from Rockwool Insulation® where she last served as the regional sales manager for the Southeast in the technical insulation division.

    

Bisson has been an active member, speaker, and contributor for a variety of industry associations, including the Firestop Contractors International Association, Construction Specifications Institute and the Florida Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association. She has also served on the board for the Florida Home Builders Association and local Brevard County HBCA.
