The 2008-2009 Foundation's Annual Fund Campaign

The Foundation provides high-quality education, unbiased information and critical financial support to our industry through the John H. Hampshire Memorial Library, the Foundation Research Series and AWCI Cares.

During these difficult times, your support is needed more than ever. We take great pride in our stewardship of all donations received by the Foundation. We appreciate the trust you have that your tax-deductible donation to the Foundation's Annual Fund Campaign will not be spent needlessly and without great care.

Through the support of our industry, the Foundation of the Wall and Ceiling Industry continues to fulfill its mission to provide high-quality education, unbiased information and critical financial support to our industry through our three programs: there are three main programs of the Foundation: the Foundation Research Series, John H. Hampshire Memorial Library, and AWCI Cares.

Foundation Research Series

John H. Hampshire Memorial Library
The John H. Hampshire Memorial Library is the largest independent library in the industry. Along with a collection of more than 10,000 reference materials, valuable and historical materials are present. Many AWCI company representatives visit to conduct business and historical research for their company and the industry. Some of the more valuable and important tools includes a complete collection of periodicals and standards. It is important that we keep this library as a living resource for us and generations to come.

AWCI Cares Logo
Helping Good People When Bad Things Happen is the AWCI Cares initiative. We are making a difference and have awarded nearly $50,000 in amounts ranging from $4,000 to $8,000 to AWCI families in financial stress from events like an unexpected death or the burden of treatment for cancer. As one of our applicants wrote after receiving a donation:

I would like to thank you on behalf of my family for the generous donation you have bestowed upon us. I have no idea how I could have paid the outstanding medical bills without your help. You will be in our prayers for the helping hand you extended. We really do appreciate your taking the time to help us out during our time in need.

100 percent of funds donated to AWCI Cares  go directly to families in need. The application materials are listed below and or more information, contact Leslie Taylor at (703) 538-1614 or awci-cares@awci.org
