Grayhawk Receives CHASE Program’s Highest Honor

At the Nov. 13, 2004, AGC of Kentucky Annual Awards meeting in Louisville, Ky., AGC presented to Mark Nabity, president of Grayhawk, LLC, a Certificate of Recognition for the company’s successful achievement into the Blue Level of the AGC of Kentucky/KY-OSH CHASE Partnership Program.

Grayhawk’s hard work and determination through commitment to employee safety has enabled them to become the only commercial contractor in Kentucky to attain Blue Level status in the CHASE Partnership Program. With successful entry into the Blue Level of the CHASE Program, Grayhawk will receive special incentives. Within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, any Grayhawk job site is exempt from programmed inspections within the next 12 months. Kentucky OSHA will not issue citations for non-serious violations provided that the violations are abated at the time of the inspection.

“It has always been Grayhawk’s goal since the inception of our safety program to further our commitment to employee safety,” Nabity said. “It was a long process and to be quite honest, to shoot for anything less would be unacceptable. We are very excited to receive this prestigious honor. This award will encourage Grayhawk to further its improvement in construction safety.”

A member of the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry, Grayhawk, LLC has offices in Lexington and Louisville, Ky. Nabity has served on many AWCI committees, and was the association’s 1998–1999 president.
