Milwaukee Tool introduces redesigned STUD™ Tape Measures, new Wide Blade Tape Measures and new Compact Tape Measures. These tapes will deliver best-in-class blade standout, reaching up to 14 feet, and enhanced durability.
STUD™ Tape Measures. Equipped with custom internal gearing, the new generation of STUD™ Tape Measures utilize a smaller spring to reduce size and allow for a more compact, comfortable and ergonomic fit in your hand. This new-to-world design allows for an optimized spring to control blade retraction speed, minimizing whip. Now delivering best-in-class standout, these tapes reach up to 14’ of standout for extended reach and efficient measuring. Cutting-edge EXO360™ Blade Technology protects the tape’s blade from ripping and wearing. This strong, high-density nylon coating wraps 360° around the blade, ensuring a blade that is abrasion-resistant and can withstand continuous use, giving the STUD™ the longest-lasting blade on the market.
This technology combined with a fully reinforced frame that can survive an 80' drop (on packed soil) makes STUD™ the most durable tape measure in the industry. These tape measures come complete with a Finger Stop for controlled blade retraction and 2-sided blade printing for increased readability. STUD™ Tape Measures will now be offered in more sizes, including a 25' magnetic option.
Wide Blade Tape Measures. Milwaukee’s new Wide Blade Tape Measures have the longest, straightest standout (based on maximum performance) and deliver up to 14’ of standout for extended reach and efficiency on the job site. The highly useful straight standout will allow users to easily measure long distances on their own. In addition to long standout, these tapes feature an anti-tear blade coating that reinforces the first 6" of the blade, a 5-point reinforced frame for drop protection, a Finger Stop for controlled blade retraction, and 2-sided blade printing for increased readability. The Wide Blade Tape Measures have 16' and 25' magnetic options.
Compact Wide Blade Tape Measures. Milwaukee’s new Compact Wide Blade Tape Measures are a best-in-class compact size and deliver up to 12' of standout (based on maximum performance). These tapes feature a 5-point reinforced impact resistant frame and 2-sided blade printing for increased readability. The Compact Wide Blade Tape Measures are available in magnetic models that feature a finger stop.
