Construction subcontractors are learning about mechanic’s lien laws and how they can use them to protect their company from losses and get paid sooner with the new video-on-demand “Mechanic’s Liens: Protect and Collect” from the Foundation of the American Subcontractors Association.
In the video-on-demand, presenter Jerry Bailey, NCS, Cleveland, explains how subcontractors serve a preliminary notice, file for a lien or bond claim, enforce foreclosure, and use tools to make their company a payment priority for their customers.
