The 45-foot interior walls of the church’s nave had to be engineered and hoisted into place due to the height and the weight of nearly 200 pounds per stud. The engineered design required every size of stud from 1 5/8" to 12", every flange size from 1 1/4" to 3 1/2" and every gauge of metal from 25ga to 12ga.
