AWCI Event Code of Conduct

AWCI is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for all event participants. Our events are built around the values of collaboration, community and professionalism.

Expected Behavior

All participants are expected to:

• Treat others with respect, integrity and professionalism.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.
• Communicate appropriately for a professional and diverse audience.

Unacceptable Behavior

AWCI does not tolerate harassment in any form, including but not limited to the following:

• Offensive verbal comments or jokes (particularly sexist, racist, or exclusionary)
• Sexual language, imagery, or advances
• Intimidation, stalking, or sustained disruption of sessions or events
• Discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, religion, political affiliation or other protected characteristics

Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to an AWCI staff member. Reports are confidential.

Enforcement

AWCI reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations, including removal from the event without refund and exclusion from future AWCI events.
