Retiring?

At what age are you planning to retire, and what are you doing now to prepare for retirement?

For me, Retire = Slow down. My goal is to build the best business model as possible, that in the event I do step away, the company can run itself with the standards of excellence paving the way for me to have limited involvement and still be able to have a salary. Also, stay away from debt, buy real estate when it’s a buyer’s market.

Hopefully 67, and saving money as fast as I can!

70.

Have not decided an age. Figure late 60s but I am having far too much fun in this industry. Bigger problem is that I need to start on the process of replacing myself now and not worry about retiring but giving the next generation an opportunity without me in the way.

Same day I die!! Working like a dog!!

55. I am putting money into a 401(k) and other investing tools.

65!!!!! Two years and counting. The industry has been very good to me and my family, but time to smell the roses, so to speak. I started another business when I was 60, and it has taken off in our area—timing was perfect. We have good bonding and financial stability and very good people who have been with me for over 25 years. I am putting people in place at this time who can and will help fill the hole. I hope!
