Acoustical Metal Panels

A. Zahner Company has launched Moda Aeris™, a new evolution of its Moda modular wall-panel system that integrates acoustic performance into its signature architectural metal panels. Designed for modern interiors like lobbies, classrooms and workplaces, Moda Aeris delivers sound-dampening capabilities, absorbs ambient noise and reduces echo without altering the clean geometry or luminous finishes of the Moda aesthetic.

The panels feature precisely engineered micro-perforations paired with an integrated acoustic backer system. These perforations are fine enough to preserve visual continuity while scientifically disrupting sound waves. This allows designers to seamlessly incorporate high-performance acoustics directly into Zahner’s existing Moda platform.

Crafted from a broad palette of architectural metals—including stainless, blackened, weathered and iridescent steel, copper and zinc—Moda Aeris offers outstanding versatility. This cohesive system combines striking visual aesthetics with measurable acoustic benefits, allowing architects to easily create quieter, more functional and highly responsive indoor environments.
