DeWalt announces 20V MAX XR® Brushless 1/2-in. Drill/Driver (DCD800) and 20V MAX XR® Brushless 1/2-in. Hammer Drill/Driver (DCD805). Each drill’s high-output brushless motor provides users with up to 40% more unit watts out in a compact design boasting a tool head that is a 1/2" shorter in length. These features allow for work in confined, hard-to-reach areas without sacrificing performance.
Engineered for optimal speed, control and precision, the drills feature a high-speed transmission using a variable trigger and 2 speed settings as well as high bit retention with a 1/2" metal ratcheting chuck. The 20V MAX XR® Brushless 1/2-in. Drill/Driver completes a range of drilling jobs with up to 2,000 rpm in second speed when drilling into construction materials. The 20V MAX XR® Brushless 1/2-in.
