Ceilings Trim Line

CertainTeed announces a new product line to help achieve flawless finishes with suspended ceiling elements.

Terminus Trim, a new channel trim offering provides clean perimeters for portions of suspended ceilings with exposed edges, such as clouds, peninsulas or transitions to drywall. Engineered to precise specifications with a sturdy one-piece extruded aluminum construction, Terminus Trim is offered in 5 different edge details—straight, straight semi-concealed, fin, fin semi-concealed and drywall—to suit traditional lay-in panels, concealed grid designs or drywall transition.

Featuring a double grooved channel for additional strength, Terminus Trim is available in a variety of profile heights and edges along with factory-mitered corner kits for additional design and installation flexibility. Square, round and angled corner posts are also available for unique finished visuals. The collection comes in standard CertainTeed grid white, black and an array of custom color options.

Key to the manufacturing of the collection is a newly established exclusive partnership between CertainTeed and architectural metals fabricator Fry Reglet Corporation, a trusted industry source for superior metal fabrications and component systems for 70 years.

Additionally, product sampling is now available for the collection (a benefit previously not offered for perimeter trim in the past), and thanks to additional shipping locations in both the eastern and western United States, architectural specifiers and contractors can be assured the collection will be well-stocked by distributors and readily available for even the tightest project schedules.

Terminus Trim is covered by the same 10-year limited warranty, which increases to 15 years when installed with CertainTeed ceiling panels, that covers all CertainTeed grid systems and components.
