Zircon, a manufacturer of stud finders, announces its new SuperScan® ID advanced stud finder. The company led a years-long research and development project with the goal of making wall mapping easier and redefining the standard for stud finder performance.
The SuperScan® ID tool features new One Touch™ technology that can identify wood studs, metal studs, live, unshielded AC wires and low-density objects without having to change modes. Now in its third generation, the new stud finder boasts an intuitive user interface that includes a four-color target ID display, with target indicator bars to indicate the center, left edge and right edge of wood and metal studs, as well as a low battery indicator.
The ID display indicates the object type by color for instant visual recognition, while a haptic vibration and patented SpotLite® pointer shines an arrow-shaped beam on the wall to clearly indicate the target’s location.
