The Florida Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association, a chapter of the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry has announced the appointment of Herman Guevara as president of their organization.
Duties of FWCCA officers and its board of directors include promoting the wall and ceiling industry in Florida, and advancing relationships between and among contractors in that industry. The organization also encourages, develops and protects the building industry in general, especially within the wall and ceiling sector.
Guevara is director of sales at Florida-based Plastic Components. His career spans over 30 years in the building materials industry. In addition to FWCCA he is active on many industry boards and committees including AWCI, the Florida Lath & Plaster Bureau and ASTM.
