Trim-Tex has announced the acquisition of Plastic Components, Inc., marking its first acquisition in the company’s 56-year history. Finalized on February 28, 2025, the acquisition expands Trim-Tex’s product line to include exterior-grade PVC profiles, strengthening its position as a comprehensive source for both interior and exterior PVC finishing solutions.
Trim-Tex President Bryan Schwartz expressed pride in the acquisition, emphasizing the long-standing respect between the two companies. Trim-Tex Chief Revenue Officer Mike Garcia noted that this move fulfills customer demand for exterior PVC profiles, enhancing Trim-Tex’s global portfolio for distributors, contractors, and professionals.
Plastic Components’ Director of Sales, Herman Guevara, also shared excitement about the partnership, highlighting the longstanding collaboration between the companies. Both companies, founded in 1969, share a commitment to high-quality PVC profiles and American manufacturing.
Plastic Components will maintain its operations in Medley, Florida, and continue producing exterior-grade profiles. Trim-Tex CEO Joe Koenig, Jr. described the acquisition as the union of two family-run companies with shared values, ensuring long-term stability and growth for their employees.
