Distinguished Service Award

AWCI’s Distinguished Service Award is awarded for exemplary volunteer service to AWCI and the Foundation of the Wall and Ceiling Industry.

AWCI members and chapter staff who volunteer their time and resources in support of the association play a vital role in the success of its programs, services and events.

Application Due: July 22

Judging Begins: August 1

Announcement of Winners:
November 2025 during ILC

Fees

There is no fee to submit nominations for the Distinguished Services Award.

Distinguished Service Award Process

Please review below the Distinguished Service Award process from eligibility to winner announcements. 

The nominee must be employed by a current AWCI member company or chapter.

The nominee must show initiative, leadership and innovative thinking in their efforts.

The nominee must provide enthusiasm, dependability and expertise.

All submissions must include the following:

  • Completed application that includes as much detail as possible
  • Application fee: No application fee required

The application period closes on July 22 at 8:00 pm ET.

The Distinguished Services Award winner will be announced during AWCI’s Industry Leaders Conference, November 11-13, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.
