Saint-Gobain, through its subsidiary, CertainTeed Gypsum, announced July 29, 2015, an agreement to purchase Structus Building Technologies, Inc. of Bend, Ore., a manufacturer of drywall corner solutions.
Founded in 1996, Structus designs and manufactures a line of finishing products for the drywall industry. The company includes a single manufacturing location in Bend, Ore., with 60 employees. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
This acquisition opens additional opportunities for Structus products to be sold through CertainTeed Gypsum’s sister businesses globally.
