RectorSeal, headquartered in Houston, has acquired the Smoke Guard Corporation.
Smoke Guard® manufactures a patented, code compliant smoke and draft control assembly that when used with fire-rated elevator hoistway doors, protects the elevator shaft against vertical smoke migration.
The Smoke Guard Corporation originated and continues to operate in Boise, Idaho as a division of the RectorSeal Corporation. The Smoke Guard Corporation was incorporated in 1991 and operated as an independent company until it was purchased by the RectorSeal Corporation in September 2004.
