EIMA Initiates New Standards Development Project for the Inspection of EIFS

The EIFS Industry Members Association is in the process of developing an American National Standard for the inspection of exterior insulation and finish systems, the title of which is “American National Standard Practice for Inspection of the Application of Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) and EIFS with Drainage (ANSI/EIMA 99A.1 201X).”

This project will provide a standardized method of inspection to ensure EIFS projects on new non-residential buildings are completed according to applicable industry standards and contract documents.

If you are interested in serving on the canvass roster that will be developing and voting on the proposed standard, contact EIMA’s Dustin Antonello at [email protected].
