ISA Names Gerber President

The board of directors of the Industrial Supply Association announced Aug. 3, 2016, that it has elected Edward Gerber, formerly with Hagemeyer-Industrial Distribution Group, as its new president and CEO. Gerber started his position last month.

    

Gerber is a 28-year veteran of the industrial supply industry with experience on both the distribution and manufacturing sides of the business. He has experience in operations, management, sales and marketing. Gerber was instrumental in the recent merger of the HNA-IDG organizations and most recently served as their director of sales for the Northeast and Western sales regions. Prior to the merger, Gerber served as IDG’s executive vice president of sales and marketing.

    

Gerber has also served on the ISA board of directors and its executive committee. He was elected to the board in 2005, then the executive committee in 2010 where he served in every major leadership role.
