MCA Announces New Executive Director

The Metal Construction Association welcomes Jeff Henry, MBA CAE, as executive director, effective June 1. Henry has cultivated a passion and deep respect for associations over his 30-year career in association management. As a Certified Association Executive, a title earned by fewer than 5% of association professionals, Henry is a distinguished leader in the association field.

    

As MCA’s executive director, Henry will lead a team of professionals who will support industry members and elevate the use of metal in construction.

    

Henry’s previous roles include executive director of the International Staple, Nail and Tool Association and the Synthetic Roof Underlayment Institute. Prior to that he was managing director of the United States Bowling Congress and president of the National Frame Building Association.

    

MCA’s board of directors extends its thanks to Karl Hielscher, for his service as executive director for the past four years. During his tenure Hielscher was instrumental in strengthening the association’s strategic direction, growing overall membership, and developing technical and educational resources for the industry, including bulletins, white papers and education seminars.
