The Metaltech ScaffoldBench is a unique 4-in-1 multipurpose unit. It is a 6’ Baker Scaffold, a garage storage unit, a utility cart and a mobile workbench with miter saw stand.
As a multipurpose, 6' Baker scaffold, the ScaffoldBench has a 1,100 lb. capacity, which is 10% more than all competitive Bakers, and allows two workers with tools and materials to stand on the scaffold.
When standing on the deck, the user can reach up to 12'. If you need to reach higher areas, the Metaltech ScaffoldBench can be stacked up to 3 levels high for a 24' high reach.
The easy-to-adjust spring-loaded locking pins allow the user to change the height as needed every 2" from as low as 27" up to 73".
Included are 5" heavy-duty, double-locking casters to move around the job site easily.
The plywood platform is reinforced with steel construction.
No tools are needed for assembly.
As a mobile workbench, ScaffoldBench can be used on the job site as well as at home, garage or workshop. The platform is reversible: one side is a deck or tabletop, the other side is a saw bench with rails that will hold your miter saw or table saw. The saw bench side is equipped with rails and comes with 4 universal brackets that fit all miter saws.
Work supports can be repositioned quickly anywhere along the rail, thanks to easy-to-adjust lever.
If the ladder is in the way, remove the upper side frames. Now you have full access to the workbench from any side or for use as a table.
T-shaped material supports also serve as blocks to make identical cuts.
Optional rollers and extra storage shelves are available online.
The ScaffoldBench also can be used as a storage shelf in the garage. It acts as a storage unit on wheels and includes 1 storage shelf. Additional storage shelving is available to buy separately online. Multiple units can be stacked or installed side by side for more space saving. Use one of the shelf as a workbench that is integrated into the storage system. One extra storage shelf with metal grating is included in the box (additional shelves can be purchased online).
Finally, ScaffoldBench can be used as a utility cart to haul heavy, bulky items. To move heavy items from your truck to the job, simply reposition the deck to the lower position.
How it is put together: Everything locks together with spring loaded pins or locking pins.
