CEMCO’s HOTROD BW is used in bottom of wall fire-resistive joints. HOTROD BW installs using compression and friction into the bottom of wall joint. Tested/listed to UL 2079 5th edition, System BW-S-0024. Additional testing for compliance includes ASTM E84, ASTM E90 and ASTM G21.
HOTROD BW is available in 5′ lengths in both one-hour (1/2″ x 1″) and two-hour (1″x 1″) profiles to facilitate faster installation compared to traditional solutions.
HOTROD BW is branded with vertical lines, single line for one-hour and double line for two-hour, allowing simple visual inspection and confirmation of installation.
