The gate easily swings opens and locks closed when ascending and descending the ladder. The entire gate folds up for easy storage.
The gate, which works facing any direction, is easily retrofitted, convenient and affordable. It fully surrounds the user and helps keep the user inside the ladder footprint. It neatly collapses for easy access and storage.
