The DX 2 covers a wide range of applications including attaching kicker plates to concrete; fastening sill plates; attaching drywall to concrete; fastening electrical cable holders to concrete; attaching chicken mesh to concrete; and, fastening wood to concrete and steel. For overhead applications such as acoustical ceiling suspension using pre-tied wires, a pole tool assembly for the DX 2 is also available.
With a fastener range of 1/2" to 2 1/2" (2 7/8" with pre-mounted washer), this tool provides powerful, reliable performance and the ability to access narrow spaces.
The Hilti Powder-actuated fastening DX 2 is built to provide long-term service under the most rugged conditions. For added peace of mind, the DX 2 is also backed by Hilti Lifetime Service, a unique service agreement that includes two year of no-cost repair coverage.
