TruFast® is continuing to grow its portfolio of TubeSeal™ self-sealing fasteners to give building professionals cost-effective solutions to help ensure the integrity of air and moisture barriers.
The most recent addition to the TubeSeal line is the Thermal-Grip® TubeSeal fastener, which is designed for insulation attachment over an air barrier or WRB.
Available in lengths for insulation nominal thickness from 1″ to 4″, in half-inch increments, Thermal-Grip® TubeSeal ensures a tailored fit for various insulation needs. In addition to securely attaching insulation, it helps seal blind fastener penetrations of a WRB and/or air barrier, all while enhancing the overall integrity of the building envelope. With its UV-resistant, semi-rigid tube construction, the fastener is suitable for all weather climates.
It is available pre-assembled with various TruFast Grip-Deck® screws, including SDS (self-drilling) or HiLo thread with various washers for insulation or lath.
