Challenge Accepted

Unique exterior items make this outdoor mall of 80-odd shops and restaurants extremely difficult, but Performance Contracting, Inc. met the challenge. A highly contemporary design was brought to life under an intensely aggressive schedule to meet in time for the retail stores to open for the Christmas shopping season. Impeccable coordination between the owner and architect was key to organize placement of design pieces.

The intricate design of this LEED Silver certified project called for a variety of materials that required lead times, so it was critical to execute the design early in the project to not allow schedule delays. For many crew members, this project was the first and hallmark for working with certain materials. While crew members were eager to learn and deliver a high-quality finish and product, coordinating the various exterior finishes for the output of the stunning exterior system proved to be elaborate, making this retail project truly unique.
