The following project was submitted to AWCI’s Excellence in Construction Quality Awards program in 2020 in the Ceilings category.

The unique acoustical ceiling design for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Fire Mountain, Sacramento required immense preparation and prefabrication plans. The sphere-like framing and soffits required experienced foremen and immense overhead hours.
    
The one-of-a-kind design created for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Fire Mountain, Sacramento consisted of lean construction materials. The ceiling design was a tough job to fill because of its intricate details. The visually appealing overhead structure required prefabricated soffits and maximum attention.
    
The grand ceiling design took just under a year to complete (5,800 man-hours over 225 weekdays) and incorporates over 100,000 square feet of detailed acoustical ceiling.
