Amnesty or a new visa program to get people out of the 1099 contractor and sub-subcontractor world. We need an answer now and not having one only helps labor brokers.

A reduction in corporate taxes would potentially create new capital that would in turn be used to build and renovate commercial buildings. This would result in a revenue increase for construction companies like mine.

From ACA compliance to hazardous waste forms, government regulations and surveys that we are required to fill out are burdensome. Eliminating the need for these would help my staff focus on what needs to be done within our organization.

Stop sending money to other countries and use it here in the states to build new government buildings or upgrade them to make them more secure and energy efficient. Stop ridiculous earmarks for useless programs. I could go on and on.

Require final payment to all subcontractors or sub-subcontractors that have NO outstanding “contract items” to complete prior to a Certificate of Occupancy being issued.
