Festool USA is releasing its Energy Set on Aug. 3 to complement the company’s cordless power tool line. The Energy Set includes 4 lithium-ion batteries and a rapid charger packaged in the durable Systainer3 transport system. Compatible with all Festool 18V tools (except cordless sanders), the new Energy Set helps to ensure that the job site stays powered up. Festool’s new Airstream technology rapidly cools the battery and allows for 60% faster charging compared to previous generation chargers.
The Energy Set includes 2 compact 4.0 Ah Lithium-ion batteries and 2 5.2 Ah lithium-ion batteries, each with the advanced Bluetooth capabilities that enable tool-triggered start when paired with a properly equipped Festool CT Dust Extractor. Each battery pack is protected by electronic monitoring of voltage and temperature and contains an LED display that shows remaining battery capacity. The Energy Set features Festool’s best rapid charger—the SCA 8, which means minimal downtime.
